Advanced Technologies Academy Advanced Technologies Academy is a Clark County School District Magnet School. Clark County School District Magnets have their roots in the concept of district-wide specialty schools. Advanced Technologies Academy is based upon the concept of Academics plus Technology. Students attending A-TECH study one of eight specialized program areas based upon the integration and use of technology. As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,022 students and 58 classroom teachers. Arbor View Arbor View High School is a high school in northwestern Las Vegas, Nevada that opened in 2005. [1] It is part of the Clark County School District, in 2006 the fifth largest district in the United States. The school opened with 1,500 students, although it was designed for up to 2,700. Area Technical Trade Center The Area Technical Trade Center (ATTC) is a career and technical high school open to juniors and seniors throughout the Clark County School District (CCSD). Our industry-trained instructors provide specialized, in-depth training in 16 specifically unique programs. Students attend their home high school for their academic classes and school activities, and attend ATTC half the day for their chosen technical field of study. Basic Basic High School is a public, four-year, comprehensive high school (grades 9-12) that is dedicated to the growth and improvement of each individual student. Over 2400 students are served by a staff of approximately 114 dedicated teachers who are committed to the learning process and strive to help each student reach his or her maximum academic, vocational, social, recreational, and physical potentials. Having received Northwest Accreditation for over 60 years, Basic continues to offer an excellent educational opportunity for every student. Bonanza Bonanza High School is a high school in the Las Vegas valley. It was built in the 1970s as one of the first high schools in the area. Bonanza opened in 1976, and is built in the same configuration as Eldorado High School, Basic High School and Vo-Tech high schools. Their sports teams is known as "the Bengals". Boulder City Canyon Springs The Mission of Canyon Springs High School and the Leadership and Law Preparatory Academy is to prepare students for success beyond graduation. This will be realized by providing a varied learning environment that prepares students with the ability to lead, participate, and contribute in a rapidly changing global society. Centennial Centennial High School is a public secondary school located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The school serves about 2800 students in grades 9 to 12 in the Clark County School District. Centennial High School is known as home of the Bulldogs. The school was opened in the 1999. The mascot is the Bulldog. The school colors are Carolina blue, navy blue and white. Chaparral Chaparral High School is a public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada of the Clark County School District. It is located in the east side of the town. The school was established in the Fall of 1973. Its mascot is the Cowboy and its school colors are orange and black. The school fight song is the theme from the classic Western The Magnificent Seven composed by Elmer Bernstein. Cheyenne Cheyenne High School is a high school in the Las Vegas valley. It was built in the 1990s in North Las Vegas. Cheyenne opened in 1991 and is built in the same configuration as Durango High School, Cimmaron-Memorial High School and Green Valley High School. Cimarron-Memorial The mission of Cimarron-Memorial High School is to provide a quality education which will enable students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens, and to acquire the skills essential for success in the 21st century. Clark Welcome to Clark High School, home of the chargers! Clark is the host of three Clark County School District Magnets: AMSAT, AOF, and TEACH. Coronado Coronado High School is a public secondary school located at 1001 Coronado Center Drive in Henderson, NV, part of Clark County School District. It admits students in grades 9-12. The school's mascot is the Cougar, and the school colors are red, white and blue. It is a public school that contains roughly 3,000 students, and has 114 certified professional staff members. Community College of Southern Nevada High School A high school of choice, a college of opportunity. This program is designed to provide a smooth transition from high school to college. Our school provides a combination of high school and college credits through an agreement between the Clark County School District and the College of Southern Nevada. High school juniors and seniors who are accepted at CSNHS take all of their classes at one of the three CSN campuses. Students in our program take their high school classes with CCSD high school teachers, and their college classes with college instructors, all on the college campus. Del Sol Del Sol High School, opened in 2004, is a nine-month public high school that is part of the Clark County School District and is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Desert Pines The magnet programs at Desert Pines include The Academy of Informational Technology (AOIT) and The Academy of Communications (AOC). The AOIT program focuses on the rapidly changing world of modern computer technology, while the AOC program focuses on communications and media technology in our society of growing globalization and communication. Durango Durango High School was first accredited with the Association in 1993. The school is also approved by its State Accreditation Committee for the academic year 2006/07. Durango High School is one of nearly 1800 in the region and over 36,000 schools nationwide to maintain regional accreditation. Durango High School is located in the Southwest Region of the Clark County School District. East Career and Technical Academy The East Career and Technical Academy is scheduled to open for the 2008-2009 school year. It will offer seven career academies: Transportation, Early Childhood / Education, Entertainment Business & Marketing, Culinary Arts, Information Technology, Medical Professions and Construction Technologies Eldorado HS Eldorado High School is a public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, part of the Clark County School District. The high school is located in Sunrise Manor Township on the northeast part of the Las Vegas Valley in Southern Nevada, south of Nellis Air Force Base. Its team mascot is the Sundevils and its school colors are Maroon and Gold Foothill Foothill High School is four-year secondary school in the Clark County School District, located in the city of Henderson, Nevada. It seems to have been rather aptly named, mainly because of the environing desert mountain hills and peaks of the southeast end of the Las Vegas Valley, leaving it, quite literally, at the feet of the hills. Green Valley Green Valley High School (GVHS) is a public secondary school in Henderson, Nevada within the Clark County School District. Its mascot is the Gator and the school's colors are green, blue, and white. The school was named after the master-planned community of Green Valley which is located in northern Henderson. The school opened in the fall of 1991, with Carroll Johnson as the first principal, and the first class graduated in 1995. Indian Springs HS Las Vegas HS Laughlin Legacy Liberty Las Vegas Academy The Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts, commonly referred to as LVA, is a magnet high school located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Moapa Valley Mojave Northwest Career and Technical Academy Northwest Career and Technical Academy is in its first year of operation with students in grades 9 and 10. Northwest Career and Technical Academy is located in a fast growing community of homes and businesses in the northwest area of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a magnet school that serves a diverse student body. The student population is over 900 and has a student/teacher ratio of 28/1. The school population primarily draws from northwest Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as other areas of Clark County. Palo Verde The school was built in 1996 with an adjacent 10 portable classrooms located in Summerlin, a rapidly growing suburban middle class to affluent community. The origin of the school's name comes from the surrounding Palo Verde trees. Rancho Rancho High School is a high school located at 1900 Searles Avenue in North Las Vegas, Nevada. It is part of the Clark County School District. Opened in 1954, Rancho High School was the third high school founded in the Las Vegas Valley. Rancho High School offers two different magnet programs, The Academy of Aviation (Private Pilot Training and Aerospace Engineering) and The Academy of Medicine (Pre-Med, Sports Medicine, Emergency Medical Training and Biomedical Technology). These programs are two of the Magnet Programs offered by the Clark County School District. Southeast Career Technical Academy Southeast Career Technical Academy is a four year, accredited, comprehensive, state-of-the-art, career-training high school. Students have the opportunity to earn not only a high school diploma, but an occupational certificate, professional licensure, and college credits. Shadow Ridge Sierra Vista Sierra Vista High School is a nine-month public high school located in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Sierra Vista is a part of the Clark County School District. Its principal Emil T. Wozniak will move to the new Desert Oasis High School in the 08-09 school year. Replacing him will be Mr.Shawn Boyle. Silverado Silverado High School (SHS) is a public secondary school in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. that is a part of the Clark County School District. Its mascot is the Skyhawk and the school's colors are Purple and Teal. Spring Valley Valley Valley High School (VHS) is a public school that also offers two widely recognized magnet programs: the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Middle Years Programme; and the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (AOHT) in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A, which is a part of the Clark County School District.
